Diabetes alert programs for community organizations can be arranged by calling the diabetes and nutrition education center at 301-714-4041. Talks can be tailored to organizational need or preference. Usual topics covered in a diabetes alert program are

4. What to do if you suspect that you have diabetes?

8. Community resources for diabetes self-management training
