Physicians

Frederic H. Kass III, MD, FACP, Medical Director
Dr. Kass received his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences (Washington, D.C.) in 1974. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Virginia Medical Center in 1977, then went on to hold a fellowship in hematology-medical oncology at the George Washington University Medical Center in 1979. Dr. Kass has served as medical director for the John R. Marsh Cancer Center since 1996.

Dan Cornell, MD, Director of Radiation Oncology
Dr. Cornell graduated with a bachelor of science degree in biology from George Mason University in 1983. In 1987, he earned a medical degree from the University of Maryland Medical School, and he held a transitional internship at Montefiore University Hospital in Pittsburgh in 1998. Dr. Cornell was a radiology oncology resident at Georgetown University Hospital from 1988 to 1991.

Neil B. Rosenshein, MD, FACOG,  Director of the Gynecologic Oncology Center for Western Maryland
Dr. Roshenshein served as director of gynecologic oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital for fifteen years and has published over 170 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and other publications. In 1997, Good Housekeeping magazine named him as one of the best gynecologic oncologists in the nation, and he was recognized at the 2003 HealthCare Heroes awards presented by Baltimore’s Daily Record newspaper.

Hind F. Hamdan, MD
Dr. Hamdan earned her medical degree in 1985 from the American University of Beirut (Lebanon). She completed her residency in internal medicine at Wayne State University in 1989 and went on to complete a fellowship in medical oncology at the University of Minnesota on 1992. Dr. Hamdan’s primary practice is at the Antietam Oncology and Hematology Group.

Michael J. McCormack, MD
Dr. McCormack graduated with a degree in biology from Fordham University in 1978, then went on to earn his medical degree from Georgetown University in 1982. From 1982 to 1985, he held an internship and residency in internal medicine at Stamford Hospital. Dr. McCormack earned his specialty in oncology at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1991.
