Adolescents, age 14 through 18 are eligible for membership as Volunteens.

This is a great opportunity for young people to not only contribute to their community, but also discover if a career in healthcare or in food service is in their future. Once the teens are in the program, it also is a great way to fulfill their community service hours for Maryland’s service learning requirement.

Volunteens age 14 work in the Coffee Shop only, and those 15 and older may work in other volunteer service areas, such as escorting patients, delivering flowers and assisting on the medical/surgical floors.
