Meritus Medical Center Open House
Don't miss this opportunity to get a glimpse of Meritus Medical Center before it opens on December 11! On Sunday, November 28, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, everyone is invited to tour a variety of areas in the hospital, including the emergency department, the women's and children's unit, and the cafeteria. A dedication ceremony for the Meritus Medical Center main lobby will directly follow the open house, after which the Washington County Hospital Auxiliary will host its 26th annual Tree of Lights tree-lighting ceremony at 5:00 pm. The tree will remain a permanent part of the landscape at the medical center. Living Well Workshops
Living with a Chronic Disease? Are you ready to take charge of your health? Learn how to lessen frustration, fight fatigue, manage pain, communicate with physicians and more at our FREE Living Well Workshops September 30 through November 11 at Otterbein United Methodist Church in Hagerstown. Aquatic Classes
A variety of aquatic classes are offered, including prenatal and aerobic, as well as for individuals with arthritis, diabetes, or joint replacement. Call Total Rehab Care at 301-714-4025 for more information.

| Childbirth Education and Related Classes |
| Prepared childbirth class #1 held the first Tuesday of each month from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and class #2 held the first Thursday of each month from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Robinwood Medical Center, suite 122. Cost is $80 per couple, which covers both classes. Light snacks included. |
| Breastfeeding class held the first Saturday of each month from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Robinwood Medical Center, suite 122. This class is FREE. Light snacks included. |
| Newborn care class held the third Friday of the month from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm at Robinwood Medical Center, suite 122. This class includes baby care and infant CPR. Cost is $60 per couple with meal included. |
| Prepared childbirth class held the third Saturday of each month from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at Robinwood Medical Center, suite 122. Cost is $125 per couple with breakfast and lunch included. |
| Sibling class held the third Monday of the month from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Washington County Hospital, Pangborn Hall. Cost is $25 for the first child and $10 for each additional child. |

Family Birthing Center Tours
Join us for a free tour of the Family Birthing Center every Sunday of the month at 4:30 pm.
Vascular Screenings
These free screenings are for people age fifty-five and older with cardiovascular risk factors. Screenings are available for peripheral arterial disease and abdominal aortic aneurysm, and are by appointment only. Call 301-790-8946.
