Hagerstown, MD (October 25, 2004)-Linda Walla has been named administrative director, diagnostic imaging for Washington County Hospital. Walla will be responsible for diagnostic radiology, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at the hospital and Robinwood Medical Center as well as the mobile x-ray/EKG service, nuclear medicine, and the nuclear medical component at the Cardiac Diagnostic Center at Robinwood. 

 

Walla has been with the hospital for 26 years where she started out as a radiographer. She was later promoted to radiology supervisor and then radiology manager before becoming administrative director. She says during her time here she has enjoyed seeing the advancement of new technologies and is excited about the future.

 

Walla received her clinical training in radiography at the hospital while attending Hagerstown Junior College. After graduation, she briefly worked at City Hospital in Martinsburg, WV before returning to Washington County Hospital. She has earned her bachelor’s degree as well as a Master of Business Administration from Hood College in May.
