American Legion Auxiliary Donates Dogs to Children in the Hospital

4/16/2004

Members of the American Legion Auxiliary Potomac Unit 202 recently presented four plush “Josh” dogs with I’ll be O.K. books to Washington County Hospital’s Pediatric Unit. I’ll Be O.K. is the story of Josh, who finds out that he has to have surgery, and how he overcomes his fears of the hospital and surgery. Barb Constable, clinical manager, and Deb Malick, clinical director, accepted the “Josh” dogs on behalf of the hospital. These dogs will be given to children who are patients on the pediatric unit.
