Dr. Krishnamoorthy has been in the Hagerstown area practicing with Robinwood Internal Medicine since May 2004. Born and raised in India, he received his education from Stanley Medical College in Madras, India. From there, he transferred to Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, where he completed his residency. He practiced internal medicine in Royston, Georgia for six years before coming to Hagerstown.

A self-admitted “information junkie,” Dr. Krishnamoorthy loves C-SPAN and reading. His zest for information comes from a daily childhood ritual, when his father would quiz him about current events, and household battles would ensue over who would be the first to read the newspaper. His interests include world affairs and history, and he hopes to pass his love of knowledge onto his children. Another interest is his study of the Spanish language. Equally proficient in English and several Indian languages, he also has an interest in Spanish. While he declares himself a novice in Spanish, learning new languages clearly comes naturally to him.

Dr. Krishnamoorthy was appreciative of the warm welcome he received when he first arrived in Hagerstown, and he continues to enjoy both the friendly atmosphere and traditional values of our community. He brings with him a wealth of experience, both professionally and culturally.
