Dr. Krishnamoorthy has been in the Hagerstown area practicing with Robinwood Internal Medicine since May 2004. Born and raised in India, he received his education from Stanley Medical College in Madras, India. From there, he transferred to Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, where he completed his residency. He practiced internal medicine in Royston, Georgia for six years before coming to Hagerstown.

A self admitted "news and information junkie", Dr. Krishnamoorthy loves to read a variety of information sources. His zest for information comes from a daily childhood ritual, when his father would quiz him about current events, and household battles would ensue over who would be the first to read the newspaper.

Another interest of his is technology and its various applications and specifically as it relates to his practice of medicine. He uses an electronic health record with the focus on patient and data safety, best clinical practices, accuracy, access and efficiency.
