Joseph Asuncion, MD

After earning his medical degree from Perpetual Help College of Medicine in the Philippines, Joseph Asuncion, MD, completed his residency in family practice at Portsmouth General Hospital Family Medicine in Norfolk, Virginia. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and speaks fluent Filipino. Dr. Asuncion originally joined Robinwood Family Practice in 1996 upon completing his residency. He then practiced in Frederick for a number of years, and we are delighted to welcome him back.

Dr. Asuncion’s special interests include pediatrics, but he also cares for patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors.
