The Village Green at Total Rehab Care is a program implemented through Recreational Therapy. During horticulture therapy sessions, patients have been able to increase their standing balance, social skills, gross motor and fine motor coordination as well as reminiscing about their past experiences with gardening. Patients also learn how to adapt their gardening skills so they are able to return to this activity once they return home.
