What is urinary incontinence?
Urinary incontinence is the involuntary loss of urine. Even a few drops
of urine is considered an episode of incontinence.
There are two major types of urinary incontinence:
Stress incontinence is the sudden, involuntary loss of urine because
of physical stress such as coughing, laughing, jumping, running, sneezing
or lifting.
Urge incontinence is the overwhelming urge to urinate resulting
in leaking.
