The Hand Center at Total Rehab Care provides treatment for upper extremity conditions involving the shoulder, elbow, wrist, or hand. To provide the most effective assessment and treatment planning, our certified hand therapists continually attend educational seminars and courses. With this up-to-date knowledge base, our therapists can help you return to or continue performing daily activities independently.

Treatment goals incorporate injury/deformity prevention, participating in functional activities, and returning to regular daily activities. Treatments may include exercise, edema/swelling control, scar management, daily activity retraining, wound care, and splinting. Modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, TENS, iontophoresis, paraffin, moist heat, and fluidotherapy) may be used to enhance the therapy process.
