Dr. DeClue joined North Pointe Internal Medicine, bringing with her a strong interest in preventive health and wellness. She was a featured speaker at the Jack & Anna Hershey Education Center’s "Wear Red for Women" event in 2007, and was recently a guest on the Health Matters radio show discussing chronic stress and the mind-body connection. A graduate of Northwestern University Medical School, Dr. DeClue completed her residency in internal medicine at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. Board certified in internal medicine, she is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Heart Association. Dr. DeClue began her career as a medical technologist, but later pursued a medical degree in order to provide more comprehensive care. “I learn a lot from my patients,” she says. She and her husband, who relocated to the area for his work over a year ago, are enjoying the Hagerstown community. The couple has four children, three in college and one professional dancer in New York. In her free time, Dr. DeClue enjoys photography.
