Dr. Hatleberg was raised in Bethesda, Maryland, and is part of a family tradition of doctors—his father and both grandfathers were also physicians. He received a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in pharmacology, then earned his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. His residency in internal medicine was completed at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. After four years of active duty in the Air Force, he and his wife, Lois, moved to Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where they raised three children. In 2003, Dr. Hatleberg joined Robinwood Internal Medicine and practiced there for the past 4 ½ years.
Dr. Hatleberg’s recreational interests include a passion for local history and bicycle riding along the C&O Canal towpath, where he is a member of the Bike Patrol. “I’ve always been interested in Hagerstown,” he says, “and I look forward to continuing to serve the community from North Pointe Internal Medicine.”
