Career Summary Ms. Addo has more than twenty years experience in healthcare administration, most of which has been in leadership positions. She has served as a consultant and lecturer to major healthcare organizations. Since joining Washington County Health System, Ms. Addo has held the positions of director, executive and vice president.
Current Areas of Responsibility Under the direction of the President is directly responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the clinical and administrative operations of patient care services which includes: Behavioral Health Services, Diagnostic Imaging, Environmental and Linen Services, Health Management, Home Health Care, Informatics, Integrated Patient Support Services, Nutrition Services, Pharmacy, Spiritual Care and Religious Services, and Total Rehab Care.
Directs and manages all physician practice groups and contract services for hospital based programs. These include: Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Cardiac Diagnostic Center, Dialysis, Emergency Medicine, Endocrinology, Geriatrics, GYN/Oncology, Hospitalist, John R. Marsh – Oncology, Neurology, Palliative Care, Physiatry, Psychiatry, Pulmonology, Radiology, Total Joint Center, and Trauma.
Participates in a wide variety of roles and activities including development of new clinical services, provider delivery services, joint ventures, and involvement in regulatory and legislative activities. Reviews and regularly consults on major projects being developed. Working with directors, managers, senior management, Board of Trustees, and Medical Staff, prepares annual budgets. Assesses development of new product lines and services.
