Through
education, therapy and participation in a 12 - step program,
patients are able to make the lifestyle changes necessary for ongoing
sobriety.
The program evaluates individual treatment needs and
refers patients to the appropriate treatment setting. Individualized
treatment plans will be used to help patients who are also diagnosed
with co-occuring mental health issues.
Phase I
IOP/Phase I is the intensive introductory phase of outpatient treatment
and uses lectures, tasks, and groups to help the participant self-diagnose
and establish an effective program for lasting sobriety. IOP is
3 times a weak for a total of 9 hours of treatment. Phase I members
attend 3 times a week for 4.5 hours of weekly treatment.
Phase II
This phase is the aftercare phase and is essential for success and
long-term sobriety. Patients use lectures and discussions for increased
education and support regarding personal responsibility for treating
the disease, continued self diagnosis and linkage with community
supports. This phase lasts for 12 weeks and meets twice weekly for
one hour.
Phase III
Phase III uses group sessions to assist patients with enhancing
the skills and support needed for living sober and completion of
a personalized recovery plan. This phase runs 1 time a week for
8 weeks, then 2 times a month for one hour group sessions for up
to 6 months.
